Branson Vacation

I am soooo behind on my blogging, so stay tuned for a series of post over the next few days. I finally found the time to load the 1000's of photos I have taken over the last month+ on the computer, so be prepared for lots of pics.
At the end of June we went to Branson for a Trotter family vacation! It was so much fun and a fantastic place to go with two toddlers!! We had two condos, kiddie pools, a wagon, golf, and outlets....it was destined to be a fabulous week! It was such a relaxing trip and as usual we had a great time playing games in the evenings. My favorite part of the week was going to the indoor/outdoor water park with a huge toddler area! They LOVED it!!!
J.David and Eden are only 4 months apart and that small gap is getting smaller and smaller as they get older! I love it! They love each other most of the time too. JD calls her "Edie" and had so much fun playing with her. He even looked for her at the pool here after we got home...he looked up at me and say " Edie?? Where Edie go?" SOOO CUTE!! She is the cutest little girl I know and I am so excited for these two to grow up playing together.
The only negative of the week was having to say goodbye. We miss them all so much and even though a week sounds like a nice long visit, it only makes us wish we had more time with everyone. And I know mimi and Jay pops feel the same way. Here are some fun pics from the week...

JD and Eden playing with the mailboxes at Lambert's.
Jay pops and JD playing at Bass Pro in the creek.

Lambert's...Home of the the throwed roll!

Hugs night night.

Dear Morgan, Jamie, & J. David,

It was so great to see your recent photos on your blog! J. David is soo cute, ( always has been), but I am noticing more "scheming" in his toddler's eyes as to what he might say and do! Isn't it amazing to see him grow and develop each day! I would love to see you all some time. I really enjoyed the photos of your Trotter vacation in Branson! I am so glad that Aunt Betty and Uncle Jim got to visit you while they were in Branson. How was your trip to K.C.? I am anxious to see any pictures that you may post on your blog from that trip. I am hoping to go there for a visit some time before the end of the month. Sam will be 15 on Thurs., and he will be starting high school in August. He is gone this week to a "Christ in Youth" week with our youth group held at SIUC- Carbondale, IL. He was at Jimmy's week at Camp Ne-o-tez in June. I got to visit with Amber when I picked him up, and she told me how well God has carried you through your loss of baby Alexander. I was so sorry to hear the news. Aunt Betty told me that she called and told you of her experience with her first pregnancy even before Jim was born. Mark and I celebrated our
25th anniversary with a 4 day vacation to Colorado Springs whil Sam was at Ne-o-tez. Morgan was at our wedding in K.C. at age 2 1/2 years old and big sis, Leanne was our flower girl...
Take care and I hope to see you soon!

Love,
