Missin' Daddy and Earthquakes

Well, it finally happened. Morgan was finally assigned to a job that required some travel. After a good 6 1/2 months of being spoiled with him here they finally sent him off to MN!! It was so nice to have him home for as long as we did. That was the longest I have had him home since we have been married and I have to admit that I was getting very used to it, so it was hard to watch him go on Sunday night. How has it been you ask? Crazy! ha ha ha. This week J.David has not quite been himself. Monday started off great with him finally rolling from back to tummy (we've been waiting for this one) but then he just started showing signs of what I concluded to be an ear infection. Wednesday we went to the Dr. and it looks like he is just teething. I am very happy that my baby does not have an ear ache but with that I also had to accept that there will be more than just this week of no sleep. oh boy!! I think it is a bit cruel of him to spoil us with sleeping through the night and then with no warning....stopping! Dr. John said that once these teeth come in we should go back to sleeping, I think Dunkin Donuts coffee makers are hoping this doesn't happen since just this week alone I have nearly gone through one bag. ha ha , maybe I am exaggerating a tad.

Morgan got home last night and we are so glad to have him back! Especially J.David, they will have lots of play time this weekend. Luckily Morgan got home just in time for our EARTHQUAKE!!?? WHAT!?! Yes, you read correctly. There was a 5.2 earthquake in Southern Illinois this morning at 4:37 and it woke us up. We were caught off guard and unsure of what actually had just happened. I didn't even feel the shaking, I just heard my pots banging together on my pot rack. Morgan felt the shaking and was convinced it was an earthquake...I am sad to say I kind of laughed at him. Even this morning I said.."hey, lets turn on the news and see about that earthquake ". And to my surprise that is exactly what happened. Sorry Morgan! We had one more later this morning but it seems that things have calmed down for the time being. CRAZY!! Anyway, here are some pics from the week:

Hey Guys! That earthquake story was crazy. I have people here in Nashville who said they woke up to it and they live about an hour south of Nashville. I can't believe how far people say they felt that thing.
