A Dog-gone day...

Today was an interesting day, a challenge really. I let Jaxon (our 2 1/2 year old yorkie) out in the backyard to go potty this morning. We have an electric fence but don't really use it b/c he knows his yard, is good about staying in it (usually), and he really only goes out to use the facilities. BUT..today I let him out and forgot about him...OOPS!! I forgot about him for over and hour, so needless to say I thought we had lost him forever. I screamed his name in the back, then in the front yard, and then in the back again...when suddenly through my tears I see a little black fur ball coming towards me from a few yards away tail tucked and ears back. Joyfully I run over to him, pick him up, and just as I am about to squeeze him with loving arms I smell him. WHOA BABY!!! The little dog had been playing in a much bigger dog's POOP!!! EWWWW!!! I mean he seriously smelled like he just had found a fresh cow patty and rolled and rolled in it. So the rest of my day was spent cleaning the dog, then cleaning the bathroom the dog was cleaned in, then trying to still remove the stank the dog left behind. And if there is one thing I hate in my home it is stink!! I became a hair short of obsessed with removing this smell and keeping the dog off any carpet in the house. Luckily for him that only keeps him out of two rooms. Anyway, this all went on while my beautiful son was having a "don't put me down day". So my day was full of Poop, screaming, and cleaning....AHHHH!!! Anybody want a dog?? just kidding, we love him. Hope everyone else had a great day!!

Here is J.David during the only 45 min break of the day. I felt it was a picture worthy moment! ha ha ha. I sure do wish he liked naps!!

Boy that sounds like a long day dealing with Jaxon like that. It looks like J.David sure does love his elephant. He is so sweet.

Tell him his uncle mike says hello!

Love you guys,
Mike
