Update

Don't fall off your chair...we've updated!!  ha ha ha.  So, we've skipped Christmas, New Years, Valentines' Day, and all that is in between.  Plus, my sweet baby Myles has no updates posted on our family blog.  Sad.  But I'm hoping to be recommitted to maybe at least one a week from here on out.  HOPING.  So here's a quick update on the little loves of my life:

J.David:
Mr. Active!!  I have never seen a child with such energy!  ha ha.  He is now a little boy, talking, playing, being a boy.  He makes us laugh everyday with the things that come out his mouth!  He has the memory of an elephant and his ears soak up EVERYTHING, so there is no tellin' what will come out and any given  moment.  ha ha.  We are also to the question phase.  What does this mean, why do we do that, what can't i have that??  That combined with his imaginative stories doesn't allow for much talking by anyone else in the house these days, I guess he gets that from his mommy.  ha ha.  He loves his brother and his "buddy jaxon" (poor dog).  Some of his favorite things right now:  Toy story, Cars, Imagination movers (he sings their songs daily), singing, Thomas the Train, playing imagination games with Daddy, and reading books.  He has a heart of gold and is so full of love.  Its so special watching him grow into this thoughtful little boy.  We are getting so close to being potty trained.  We are hoping to have our "No more diapers party" this weekend.  This is the ultimate prize!  I can't wait!!

Myles:
At 6 months Myles is already such a different person than his brother.  He is 19 lb 6 oz (this is what jd weighed at a year) and 27 inches.  He is hanging out in the 75-90%.  He is wanting to crawl soo badly!  He's been rolling and pushing up on all fours so we are anticipating the crawling any day now.  AHH!!  He rolled from back to front right at about 4 months and has been a tummy sleeper ever since, if only he slept through the night.  Around 8ish weeks he was going a full night (9 hours) and we thought we were golden....WRONG!  ha ha.  that's ok, he is great eater and good napper and we have full confidence that his teeth are a big cause for his waking.  His two bottom teeth are visible but not quite there yet, so we hope for his sake that they break through soon.  Poor baby.  He is so happy and so laid back!  He LOVES his baths, JDavid, food, playing on the floor, his jumperoo, sophie the giraffe, his moose, and snuggling.  Myles has the best smile and the sweetest laugh.  He has maintained his blue eyes and kept most of his hair, but it is coming in so much lighter!  People comment all the time when we go out on his precious cheeks!  ha ha.
There is nothing sweeter than watching the boys interact together!  Here are a few pics from the months that we've missed.  Hopefully my camera will be fixed soon and i'll have newer pics to share!

Yay for an update! It's fun reading your updates since our kids are the same age. Avery is all about the questions too. Allie was not a good sleeper until last week when I finally made her cry it out during the night. It took one night of crying for 25 minutes and she now goes 7-9 hour stretches. So much better!
