Imagination Movers and No More Diapers!

St. Patricks' Day my parents took J.David to see the Imagination Movers.  For those of you who don't know who this awesome group is, then you are missing out!  ha ha.  No, the really are cute.  Its a show on disney of 4 men that focus on imagination and have great more rock like songs.  J.David loves watching them and knows the words to a bunch of their songs.

In preparation for this big day I decided to break out my sewing machine and create for him a mover's suit.  I've always had an interest in sewing and in college one of my final projects was sewing and displaying a small line of clothing created by yours truly.  Sadly, despite all the ideas in my head and intentions I've had, my machine hasn't seen much light since college.  I made some nap pads over a year ago for the bottom of Jd and Eden's pack and plays....thats about it.  All that to say, I put my college education to good use and came up with this:
J.David and I with the finished product!
Holding up their tickets!
 JD and Warehouse Mouse

He looks like he is doing JAzz hands, but he was jumping. too cute!

He LOVED it!  His favorite mover is Dave and he wears a red hat...check!  He was set and loved every minute of it.  Thanks mom and dad for taking him to such a great event and for the cherished Warehouse mouse and Tshirt that I can't keep clean b/c he won't take it off!  He daily reinacts the concert....
JD:  Who are we here to see
Me: Imagination Movers
JD:  I can't hear you!  Who are we hear to see??
ME: Imagination Movers!!
JD:  Ok, on the count of three...1,2,3...IMAGINATION MOVERS!!  (this is followed by loud drumming or guitar strumming and the opening song!! ha ha ha...I really need to get this on video)

Our next big event last was the NO MORE DIAPERS PARTY!!  A party for potty training??  yes.  First, this has been such a long process and second, J.David loves a good celebration in his honor.  The promise of this party has been a small part in his final success!  It was a huge crowd, all of toys came!  All Cars, Trains, tonka trucks, and toy story figures.  And he also received the train he's been wanting for a long time.  We made hats, fruit loop necklaces, and cupcakes in preparation for the big event, it was awesome and he loved it!  He even got to blow out a candle!  We were so ready for this day that we would have given in to anything as long as he asked wearing underpants!  ha ha ha.  I will get pics from Morgan's iphone this weekend.

Myles is 7 months!  Today he rode in his first cart sitting by himself, he cut a tooth this week, and is now crawling EVERYWHERE!!   mostly towards anything that resembles something he should have or be near....AHHH!!!  Love his precious demeanor, constant smile, and go with the flow-ness.  ha ha ha.
