Lately we have had a lot of fun with friends! Two weeks ago we had a going away party for the Thompson family. It was a great time full of swimming, eating, and playing! We are really sad to see them go. :( On a positive note Kara and her daughter Maren were in town last week and we had a great time getting to see them again! Its sad how quickly the little change, but it was really neat to see them all interact again. Here are some of the pics from those two events:

J.David has been nothing but hilarious lately! His vocabulary is really starting to expand (as long as you can figure out what he is saying). ha ha. The other night he actually even made his first "dinner request". We were back in our TV/play area close to dinner time and he brings me a little plate leftover from snack and says wawwol! wawwol!!! wawwooooollll!! (waffle) ha ha ha. Considering i had not quite come up with a menu for dinner I granted his request and we had sweet potato pancakes (gotta sneak in those veggies!) He had three of them! ha ha ha. funny kid! Here is just a cute one of my "Little Linus". He loves that blankie!

how cute the pics....can't wait to see you guys in branson....we sure enjoyed our visit with Morgan wed. night...i told him to bring you and jd with him in july....
