What a wonderful journey parenting is! J.David turned 6 weeks old yesterday and I just can't get over how much he has changed. We had a Dr. Appt last Monday and he was 10 lb 3 oz and was 22.25 inches long! He is quite the eater and just doing great! Everyday he seems different to me whether it be heavier, more alert, or just simply older. With each day I am thankful and excited for these changes, but also saddened by how quickly his little life is already flying by!

This photo was taken today after one of his feedings. He was so happy after eating and just smiling like crazy,Especially after he found out some exciting news from the Connett family!! (And yes, that is spit up on the side of his mouth...but I take what I can get!)
This weekend was a great one! We spent all day Saturday putting up our Christmas stuff. This had double
significance for us b/c it is our first holiday season in our house and the first Christmas with J.David, so it was a fun and exciting day for us! J. David really enjoys the lights on the tree and was so good all day running to Lowe's for lights and watching mommy and daddy work like crazy to get it done. It must have tired him out b/c we ALL slept through the night! Yes, I said ALL...woo
hoo!! I know I would be
naive to think this would happen all the time, but once or twice a week would be a great goal to shoot for! ha ha ha. Here are some pictures of us from tonight in front of the tree and of J.D. putting up his first ornament (he fell asleep before we got to this weekend).
