When we got back from the first pumpkin patch J.David wanted so badly to carve his pumpkin. To avoid an early case of the rotting pumpkin we compromised on painting the pumpkin. I went and bought some washable paints and he had a blast! I don't know if you can tell from the picture but there are very few areas left paintless. This will be a repeat activity next year!
