Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! (its a long one!)

WOW!! I feel like I have so much to blog about. First I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season! We did and are so sad that it is over. We spent the entire week of Christmas in Arkansas with the Trotter side of the family. We had a great Christmas and really enjoyed watching JD and Eden interact and enjoy Santa's goodies together. We came home the weekend after and spent New Year's Eve with my fam and did our Xmas celebration. That is always a fun night of games, laughter, and this year Rock Band! ha ha ha. Morgan was off for TWO weeks and we loved having him home. After his crazy travel schedule it was so wonderful to have him all to ourselves for two whole weeks. We did a little bit of nothing and a lot of everything with him, it was great!! JD is hands down a Daddy's boy, and although my feelings get a little hurt when he denies his mom I sure do love to watch them interact, plus it gives me a little break :). He loves Daddy sooo much and is so lucky to have such a great man to look up to. Here are some pics from Xmas in searcy. I need to get some of the pics from my mom from Christmas here, i was not a great picture taker.
J.David and Eden after getting into their stockings. Eden looks a little more excited than JD

Eden's push toy that J.David claimed as his "seat" all week.

Chillin in his gifts Christmas morning. His excitement is over whelming! ha ha ha.

My original plan was to have a blog simply dedicated to JD with Santa pictures. He got to see Santa THREE times in one weekend and all his reactions were priceless. I have two of the pics i can post, the other two need to be scanned so i may add them later. The first pic is of J.David meeting Santa for the first time at the galleria. He was calm, but very unsure. I was trying to explain to him who this was on the way to Santa's lap and Santa said, "Now don't hesitate mom, just put him on my lap and walk away." I found this to be quite funny, but listened since he is the pro...ha ha. The second time was the next morning at Breakfast with Santa at my sister's school. This time he cried immediately, UNTIL he saw the camera flash!! not kidding! He then smiled until they were done and proceeded with the crying. WHAT A HOOT!! (those are the pics not posted. We have one screaming and one smiling) Finally the following Sunday was my family reunion where Santa makes a visit. I think by this time he was Santa-ed out and well, all I got was a SCREAM!! Every kid needs a few good pics like that though. Enjoy!

The last pics are just some funnies from December. I thought the one in front of the tree was cute and the others are of his Burger King crown. On the way home from AR was stopped at BK for lunch and JD had his first kids meal, kind of. They have these apple fries (apples slices in the shape of fries) and they were a hit!! He barely touched the chicken. ha ha ha. That's my boy!
