Well, after a long month of computer viruses and frustrations we are finally back in the blog world!! We have had a GREAT month!! J.David has turned 10 months old, yes TEN MONTHS!! His personality is coming out more and more with each day, and what a wonderful personality it is! He is full of joy, always has a smile! He wants to be a part of everything and is now "talking" all the time. I just wish I knew what he is trying to tell me. ha ha ha. We are just about officially weened. I am sad that we were unable to make it to my 12 month goal, but I have had to come to terms with knowing that we went as long as we could. J.David had lost interest and feedings became more of a battle than a meal and I was constantly worried he wasn't getting enough. Now, we are both happy and enjoying feedings again. We are still holding onto the morning feeding, but I anticipate to drop that one by the end of Sept. J.David has 8 teeth now and LOVES food. He loves veggies and meats best! He is such a boy!! I love my boy!
This month we were so lucky to have our dear friends, the Connetts, come visit us! J.David and Kinley were in love at first sight...ha ha ha. They were so cute and it was so special for us to get together with them. We went to the Botanical Gardens, the Zoo , and of course, just hung around. Here are some fun pics from the month we missed out on....and of course there will be more to come!!

J. David is so precious! I cannot believe that he is already 10 months. Are you going to homecoming? Houston would love to play with J. David. It sounds like you have had a great summer.
