Shake, Rattle, and ROLL!!

As you can see from the picture above we have really been working hard during out tummy time! ha ha ha...But today, just before his nap, it happened! Our first BIG milestone as mommy and baby...J.David ROLLED OVER!! It was so cute and I am so proud of him. It is amazing how much life changes after a baby. Six months ago I thought a big day was getting a good deal at the mall...today it is the joy of watching my precious son roll to his back for the first time ever! I always knew that I wanted to be a mother and that it would be wonderful, but I never realized how wonderful and fulfilling it actually would be. Hard? yes. Tiring? you bet! Worth it? More than I could put into words! Here are some pictures from our big moment!
The Before Pics

During...

And Ta-Da!! After!!

A few more updates: We average about 6 hours a night (we even got our first 8 hour night on Friday night!), J.David is talking like crazy! The language is unknown, but I love it anyway. And finally, we are slowly growing out of our 0-3 month clothes and wearing almost all 3-6 ers. Sad...but he started to get so long that he couldn't stretch his legs out in his sleepers, I decided that I needed to give in! ha ha ha!

I'm so proud of my nephew. Why he couldn't have done that a week ago so I could see beats me. He must not have been ready. Can't wait to see all the changes coming. He is growing too fast. Love ya'll.

What a big boy! Is it not funny what pride you have for your child preforming such a simple accomplisment? It's the first roll into many movements that come and go so fast. Enjoy and tape every single one. I actually just got done watching some clips of Rowan rolling over, and his first smiles, and coos and sitting up.. ect... Special times! He is so handsome! Rowan and J. David need to meet.
